John Philip Mullinax is a professional musician with years of experience playing for weddings as well as at other venues and events. Regardless of your situation, John-Philip would love the opportunity to share his music with you for your special day or to remember your special someone.
He has a varied repertoire of literature from which to choose and has both a piano and organ in his home. He is happy to meet you there and play a few things for you that you may be interested in that is appropriate to the service or ceremony you are having. Outdoor events are possible with a keyboard, however, I only use the keyboard I bring but is equipped to plug into your sound system if you so choose. This would also incur additional rental and cartage fees.
Choral Clinician / Conducting Coach
Mr. Mullinax has been conducting choirs for almost 40 years and would love the opportunity to work with your choir for a few hours or a day or two. His conducting has been described as "gifted artistry". He has conducted professional performances in major venues in San Jose, Fort Worth, Dallas, Denver, Montreal, Tampa, St. Petersburg, Charlotte and Raleigh. He has been directing church choirs since he was in high school. Choral Conducting is his passion and whether you need assistance in brushing up on your conducting skills, preparing your choir for upcoming MPA performance, learning a Church Christmas Cantata or for a Weekend Choir Retreat, he would love to work with you in preparing an itinerary that could uniquely meet the needs of your and your vocal ensemble. Fees for workshops can vary widely, so please contact him with your budget and he can come up with the conducting services he can offer you at that price point.
